How to make a TikTok sound your ringtone

That viral TikTok song or sound can be your ringtone. All you need is the MP3 and a few steps on your phone.

Step by step

  1. Save the audio as MP3

Copy the TikTok link, paste it in ClipVerso, tap “Process” and choose “MP3”. The file goes to your downloads folder.

  2. Android

Go to Settings → Sounds and vibration → Ringtone and tap “+” or “From storage”. Find the MP3 in “Downloads” and select it. Menu names vary slightly by brand.

  3. iPhone: open GarageBand

On iPhone you need Apple's free GarageBand app. Create an “Audio Recorder” project, tap the loop icon (top right) → “Files” → “Browse items from the Files app” and pick the MP3.

  4. iPhone: trim and export

Drag the audio onto the track and keep it at 30 seconds or less. Go to “My Songs”, press and hold the project → “Share” → “Ringtone” → “Export”, then “Use sound as” → “Standard Ringtone”.
