How to set a TikTok as your wallpaper

Found a TikTok that would look great as your wallpaper? First save it without the watermark, then set it on your phone. Here's how on Android and iPhone.

Step by step

  1. Copy the TikTok link

Open the video in TikTok, tap “Share” and then “Copy link”.

  2. Download it without watermark

Paste the link in ClipVerso, tap “Process” and choose MP4. The video is saved to your phone without the TikTok logo.

  3. Android (Samsung and others)

On many Samsung phones: Settings → Wallpaper and style → Change wallpapers → Lock screen → Gallery, and pick the video (Samsung accepts short videos of about 15 seconds). On other Android phones you can use a free “video wallpaper” app from Google Play.

  4. iPhone

iPhone doesn't accept videos as wallpaper directly: first turn it into a Live Photo with an app such as intoLive. Then go to Settings → Wallpaper → Add New Wallpaper → Photos and pick that Live Photo.

  5. Trim it if it's long

Animated wallpapers work best with 3 to 10 seconds. You can trim the video with your gallery editor before using it.

Frequently asked questions

Does it drain the battery?

A little more than a still image. If you notice it, use the video only on the lock screen.

Can I use any TikTok?

For personal use on your own phone, yes, as long as the video is public. Don't repost it without the creator's permission.
